Only 8.1% of Brazil's population have had at least one shot.  Percentage is
still too low.  But I am surprised that it has so many deaths a day.  Last
early September, US's average deaths were only about 800.  And US's
population is a little more than 50% higher than Brazil's.

Brazil is having a wide spread of covid-19 variant, allegedly the vaccines
on the market are not effective for it; many young people are hospitalized,
some died. Brazil's daily covid death toll is 1/4 of the global daily death
toll.

At least Chile's death number is a lot better, while it is a lot colder than
Brazil.  Also, thought Chile's vaccination percentage is high now, most of
them were just done the last 30 days, so at the beginning of March, their
vaccination percentage was not high.  That probably explains why their
infection number is still pretty high.
